Track drainage for grooved and vignol rail
Patented track drainage boxes from RIECKEN quickly drain rainwater and contaminants from the groove area of the rail into the drainage channel. This is extremely important to keep rail traffic moving, because impurities such as dirt, sand and leaves accumulate in the profile of grooved rails over time and impair daily operation as the safe track guidance of the rail vehicles can no longer be guaranteed. The large drainage opening of the rails and drainage boxes enable quick and practical flushing of the groove. Dirt and blockages can be easily removed simply by opening the lid.
