Point setting mechanisms
RIECKEN point setting mechanisms are in daily use nationally and internationally. Their application ranges from tram networks to harbours and industrial rail networks.
WZA and ZA type point setting mechanisms can be supplied for both vignol and grooved rail points in all available profiles and for gauges from 900 mm to 1600 mm. These switching devices can be used in simple throwable points or in trailable points with points openings of 30 mm to 160 mm. Manual types can be supplied with or without damping, and mechanically driven with core magnet or electro hydraulic drives. In addition to the point setting mechanisms, we can also supply tongue detectors and mechanical locking devices – fixed or trailable – and practically any type of special construction.
All points setting devices from RIECKEN guarantee a maximum of safety and availability due to decades of experience in the field of track superstructures. Maintenance and operating costs are reduced to a minimum.
